The emergence of the Golden Corn line from Taniguchi has made headlines around the world and with tweaks to the parent set, the farm is now producing more varieties from the original parents such as Asagi, Ki Asagi and other Kawari varieties. One thing they have in common is the shared genetics from the monster female Karashi that gives most of the offspring this immense capacity to grow quickly. A quirky Beni pattern that runs throughout the Koi, with a very good lateral line. The Moto aka in the fins is makes for a nice impression as the fish holds itself in the water.
