Gin Rin Showa

I have been purchasing from Ooya for many years and his Gin Rin Showa generate the most insane Sumi style and throw in the strong pattern and body type they very much make for visually striking Koi. The purists will highlight the lack of Beni pattern but given the other characteristics of this Koi I can see it being a very impressionable Koi as that Sumi starts to deepen. Throw in the strong body an super Gin Rin I just think this will make a wonderful pond fish. This breeder has been an continues to turn heads and as I have seen many times over the years I think the days of finding value at this farm are coming to an end. As the farm keeps winning major prizes in Japan, it just keeps elevating the farms status on the global scene and that normally mean prices go one way.
