This is an example that should highlight why this breeder is such a master of Kohaku. The cynic will look at the Beni in the pec but it frustrates me when this is the first thing hobbyists look at (A negative), rather than celebrating the clear qualities the Koi possess and of course it is reflected in the price. A beautiful Beni plate will be framed perfectly as the Koi gains body volume moving forward. The white, lateral pattern will become far more visible and this will give a great shape an definition to the pattern.
