Mizuho Ogon

This farm is famous for this variety. I remember when I was younger, the first time I went to the main Koi facility at Marusei, the place is vast! All the pons are raised above ground and it is a real labyrinth to to walk across all the ponds without falling in. Towards the end, every year he has his bigger Koi towards the back of the facility and he has a pond line with green fiberglass, rammed with Mizuho Ogon. They are built like tanks and the contrast between the most vibrant metallic Orange and the black Segoke (scale line) is really a sight to behold. This particular farm seemingly produces this variety with ease, I have never seen such volume and quantity of this variety from any other farm, it is very unique in that sense.

A life guarantee is given with any Koi in our care over winter. In the unlikely event of loss a full credit will be given. Loss of pigment, pattern etc will not be covered just as it is in Japan. Please note this is not a growing service.
