Shiro Utsuri

From the master of Shiro Utsuri, Omosako has been the 'go to' breeder for this variety for many, many years. Dominating on the show scenes around the globe, they typically achieve very good sizes for Shiro Utsuri which has in some part been this varieties limitation, until Omosako unlocked the genetic capability for them to grow to jumbo proportions. This individual boasts a very balanced Ichimatsu (chequred) pattern style which is the classic Utsuri pattern type whereby each area of sumi is opposed with Shiroji. You will see the sumi thicken and lacquer up with age and this will improve the contrast of the Koi moving forward. Overwintering options are available if required.
