Showa

Yoshino Showa, this is a Niigata breeder that's fast getting a lot of recognition now. Typically known for his Kohaku and Sanke but he also does some very very attractive uh showa. One of the attributes or two of the attributes from this farm is the Sumi style that he produces. You get these thick, heavy style Showa types which I know is quite popular for many hobbyists out there. I'm more of akindai sort of fan, but you can't really deny a beautiful showa when it's got this big, heavy, blocky sumi pattern. Nice motoguru in both fins .A very nice balance throughout the Koi. Expect that sumi to fill in completely throughout the fish moving forward. Nice structure to the fish as well, with a very full body style for a Koi of this size. Moving forward, it's just quite easy fish to read to be honest with you and that sumi is really going to have that glossy finish we love to see.
