Yellow Dragon from Aoki

Aokiya Koi farm is one of the most in demand farms in Niigata. The mix and variety of the highest quality is quite unique. I can't think of anothr farm that has so many unique and outrageous varieties. Particularly the Doitsu Ki Kujaku/Kikokuryu that has been dubbed Yellow Dragon. The success from this spawning is so little that the numbers are very, very limited and as such the demand and lack of numbers, creates quite an interesting place for p[ricing. If you have seen the Nisai, you will know they go for serious, serious money so the Tosai are the most accessible way for many of us. To create the deep sumi scale line, along with the most vibrant form of Ki (yellow) is a very difficult combination to pair. As a result many breeders I have spoken to have basically said this variety is too hard to replicate regularly, so with this in mind you can understand why this breeder commands high prices.
