Big fish pattern style in the making. Beni plate is quite heavy & overwhelming as a young fish but envisage this at 50/55cm when the Shiroji starts to frame that Beni pattern, it will all start to come together & make sense. Maruyama underpins most of the Beni type in Niigata or at least the origins of many farms. Buying a whole pond at the time seemed daft but it allows me to offer quality like this at this price point. Something hard to do at this farm.
