A bit of a marmite variety for some but if you wanted one from any farm, Marusaka would be the one. He has a strong Sumi style and a lovely, clean tone of Ki (yellow). From a breeding perspective I do admire breeders who take on these hard to produce metallic varieties so when we see a nice one, it deserves some attention. Good structure to gain size, an attribute Marusaka Kin Ki Utsuri also possess (the ability to attain size).
