Growing Info
Growing is available with this piece until the end of Sept 2025. A life guarantee is given with the Koi and in the event of death, major quality loss or deformity, a full credit and or replacement will be provided. Growth is not guaranteed but the Koi will go into our large, heated tunnels and fed on Saki until September.

Another beautifully patterned Sanke from Ooya. For a young fish I really like the depth and position of the Beni. Along with this, the emerging Sumi is situated really nicely. The Kata mark (Shoulder Sumi) is not essential for Sanke but it is deemed a positive pattern feature and the way the sumi sits in-between the dans of Beni is idyllic. I have a really clear vision with this fish and the koi as a whole lends itself to that of a much bigger Koi. Good posture on the Koi, looking forward to watching this one develop.

Growing until end of September is available on this piece for an additional £50 if you wish to leave it with us. See growing notes for further details.

Bidding Help

What is Automatic bidding?

Automatic bidding is the simplest method to participate in an auction-style listing. Just input the maximum amount you're prepared to spend on an item, and we'll handle the rest for you

How to set up automatic bidding

When you’re prepared to place a bid on an auction listing, input the highest amount you’re willing to pay for the item and click on Submit Bid. We will then bid in defined increments for you—enough to maintain your lead, but only up to your specified limit.

If someone outbids you, we’ll notify you, and you can choose whether to raise your maximum bid.

Remember that when determining your maximum bid, you should also consider the cost of shipping if applicable.

Why you've been outbid immediately

If you find yourself outbid right after placing a bid, it's probably because another bidder is utilising automatic bidding and has set a maximum limit that exceeds yours. To become the highest bidder, you'll need to raise your maximum limit.
