Beautiful Kohaku from Maruyama. Posture of the fish is extremely good and it holds itself beautifully in the water. Transition from the head to the body is very, very good and displays the qualities of the skin, shiroji and Beni. The structure of the Koi is very conducive for growing, great head structure and body line. For me in the right raising conditions this would not look out of place on the show scene in the next year or two, With body mass the smaller Beni Dans will be framed far better and that will bring the pattern type to life. An excellent Kohaku that I rate highly from one of the most talented farms of this variety on the planet.
