Sekiguchi is one of the most respected Showa breeders in Niigata. Situated in Minamiuonuma, the farm is a bit out of the way but its so worth the effort. A charismatic duo, the brothers stick to their principles of of quality over quantity. The standard of Showa from this farm is up there with the best and their dedication to one variety is testament to the quality produced. Many, many farms have to endorse other varieties to be commercially viable but Sekiguchi have focussed on Showa for decades and I think that speaks for itself. Sumi style is very reliable in the UK and this makes such examples very easy to read. As always my attention to detail with body lines will serve this Koi well moving forward. At this price point its a super example.
