Izumiya is probably better known to hobbyists for their Yamabuki Ogon but make no mistake they have quickly become dominant in the Koromo variety. Very consistent Beni type and floral pattern types is a joy to see. The shiroji on this Koi is a really exciting attribute; it creates a fantastic skin lustre. The transition from head to body is excellent and that mask pattern across the face adds that degree of character I think we all love to see. An excellent example in the making.
