Gin Rin Aragoke Kumonryu (0090)

This is more of your of the pattern type you'd expect to see with Kumonryu. You can also see the very prominent Gin Rin Aragoke scale arrangement which as the Koi gains size and mass, becomes a really unique and stunning feature. You can expect sumi development moving forward as the Sumi style is very reliable with this variety. If you opt for growing however I would not be surprised if you get some Sumi regression but this will come back so don't panic. Beautiful body line and structure so overall I have high hopes for this piece. Dubbed 'Black Dragon' these have generated a lot of interest. Someone described them as the poor mans Zeus and that is a total misrepresentation. Takatatsu Koi farm is not the biggest facility but there is a decided innovation from the breeder to create unique and striking Koi. The name seems to generate some contention but as I have said many times, just look at the fish, forget the names and the marketing jazz. For Doitsugoi these do grow very well and the depth of sumi and unique scale arrangement make them very appealing, particularly if you have a window pond
