I do love this breeders Kohaku. Literally this farm is situated across the road from Dainichi Niigata facility. You see dealers flocking to Dainichi like flies to a light and I don't blame them but my word, do not underestimate this Hoshikin Koi farm. The body and Beni style from this farms Kohaku is just sensational. I have said for a long time that his Kohaku and Showa are very underrated but that means that often there is real value to be had. His Kohaku achieve great sizes and have a pattern, skin and beni style very unique to the farm. I have had some mega results from this farm, particularly with the Nisai as they are quite attainable price wise without the dip in quality. This will body up quite quickly if you can give some heat and food for the Summer, at that point the image of the fish changes dramatically. A really easy to read pattern type with show ready sashi and kiwa. Moving forward I want to see the Shiroji on the head thicken and this will improve the transition into the body; an area that is often overlooked but very important for the overall image of the fish.

Bidding Help

What is Automatic bidding?

Automatic bidding is the simplest method to participate in an auction-style listing. Just input the maximum amount you're prepared to spend on an item, and we'll handle the rest for you

How to set up automatic bidding

When you’re prepared to place a bid on an auction listing, input the highest amount you’re willing to pay for the item and click on Submit Bid. We will then bid in defined increments for you—enough to maintain your lead, but only up to your specified limit.

If someone outbids you, we’ll notify you, and you can choose whether to raise your maximum bid.

Remember that when determining your maximum bid, you should also consider the cost of shipping if applicable.

Why you've been outbid immediately

If you find yourself outbid right after placing a bid, it's probably because another bidder is utilising automatic bidding and has set a maximum limit that exceeds yours. To become the highest bidder, you'll need to raise your maximum limit.
